FAIR FOR CUSTOMERS & ENGINEERS

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We respect your investment and the real work performed by our developers, designers, system administrators and network engineers.

Effective: 19 October 2026 · Contact: connect@ranet.in

1. Our approach

Requests are assessed fairly based on the agreed scope, the work genuinely completed, documented time or accepted milestones, authorized non-recoverable commitments and applicable legal rights. We do not apply undisclosed or arbitrary cancellation penalties.

2. Before work commences

When cancellation occurs before professional work starts, the uncommitted payment is generally refundable. We may deduct only approved, genuine and non-recoverable third-party expenses or other amounts clearly disclosed and authorized before purchase.

3. After work commences

Professional effort already provided may be chargeable. This includes discovery, consultation, requirements analysis, creative design, software development, coding, content migration, server/network/cloud configuration, troubleshooting, testing, deployment and security work. The deduction will reflect previously disclosed terms, reasonable documented efforts, agreed milestones and completed deliverables. Any eligible unearned balance is refunded after reconciliation.

4. Third-party subscriptions and purchases

Domain registrations, hosting, paid themes, software licenses, cloud subscriptions, SSL products, gateway charges and similar purchases may be non-refundable once ordered or activated **only to the extent the authorized charge cannot reasonably be recovered** under the provider's terms. If an applicable refund or credit is actually received from the provider, it will be passed through or accounted for fairly.

5. Customer-requested additional changes

Included revisions and corrections of our defects under an agreed warranty are not charged separately. After acceptance, additional modifications or enhancements are assessed through a separate written scope and quotation. A request alone does not authorize a charge. Approved extra work already performed is treated as professional service effort if subsequently cancelled.

6. Completed and accepted services

Work already delivered and accepted is generally not refundable solely due to a later change of preference. This does not remove obligations to remedy deficiencies, honor an agreed warranty or comply with applicable law.

7. Non-delivery, defects and our responsibility

Where rAneT.in fails to deliver agreed work or materially fails to meet an accepted specification, we will assess timely correction, re-performance, a fair partial refund or full refund as appropriate to the circumstances and applicable rights. Costs of unperformed work are not automatically retained.

8. How to request a refund

Email connect@ranet.in with the quotation or invoice number, reason and supporting details. We will acknowledge the request, review the approved scope and relevant records, provide a breakdown of deductions where applicable, and communicate the outcome and refund processing method/timeline.

9. Customer protection

Nothing here waives mandatory rights under Indian consumer protection law or other applicable legislation. If a specific signed agreement provides more favorable protections or applicable law requires a different remedy, that requirement will be respected.

Practical transparency: Larger projects should specify milestone fees, scope approval checkpoints and included revision rounds. This protects both customer expectations and the professional work of the delivery team.
